Hi Mya the Samurai-girl I played your game on Itch.io, the basic movement mechanics are great, two suggestions would greatly improve the game I think, 1) provide basic instructions screen that gives all the movement mechanics, 2) use the enter key or ctrl or shift key as the sword strike key because right now the only way I can move the sword is with the left mouse button & I believe I have to stop left/right movement then click the mouse button to do this
