I love the game concept, and the N64-Style visuals are very charming! I've encountered a few bugs, which are expected, but some really made the experience less fun for me.

- I think the major one that bugged (pun intended) me, is the fact that I couldn't invert the Y axis camera. No matter what, it didn't change.

- The logbook didn't track the shards I've gotten for some reason

- The game crashed in the sunflower boss, and I had all shards... I ended up rushing back to the boss with 0 shards.

Some minor bugs that I found:

- The first death I got instantly revived me in place, only to get a delayed "cut" after. (All other deaths were normal)

- You can get a spring stuck between loading zones just by walking in with it (the one between the inside of the tower, and the outside part right before the boss). Doing that also made me load the next area with an invisible object above my head, while running really fast. (this glitch was kinda fun, I wouldn't mind it staying).  I just noticed someone already commented this one, and it's already fixed!

The other major problem I had were performance issues. Even running the game on 1x resolution, I've got nearly constant framerate drops, and while my modest PC lacks a dedicated GPU (Ryzen 5 5600G), I've managed to play (and stream) many other games in the past without issues...

All that said, I still think this is going to be a great game. It's very charming, and it felt really good to play after I got used to the (un?)inverted camera.

Thank you for playing! All of the bugs you've mentioned should be fixed in the latest patch, minus the crashes (which have hopefully been mitigated, but it's still something we've been looking into)

As for performance, the game will sometimes cache shaders and the like whenever they occur for the first time, causing some stuttering. That and the game being slightly CPU intensive can lead to slowdown on some hardware. We will be working on a custom caching/loader in the future, along with script optimizations, in order to maximize performance on all hardware! - Jeff

Nice work! I'll check the updated version soon.

Though, in my case it seemed to be a graphics related slowdown rather than a CPU, cause the gpu was at 100% usage while recording the game. But I'm not sure the task manager is the best way to find it out lol
