This feature is necessary to look at the camera as it runs, then it will take less percent.

Apparently it's done to nerf close-left-door strats, waiting for the footsteps and then reacting with the doors will always drain maximum power and ruin your run. 

After seeing her, wait about ~5 seconds, close the door and then look at the left hallway to trigger her run - you have to see the run or it'll drain maximum amount.
