Translating Ai are not good for a direct translation often times leaving things even more confusing than just understanding them. Especially when words have different meanings based on context or pitch.
Just for a quick example. Japanese Onomatopoeia for sexual noises often gets translated into the word "Bread" in english.
Many low grade games do direct translation and the sentences just end up a gibberish mess of words unless someone familiar with the language performs a cleanup and only use the AI to speed up the process of translating multiple lines.
