First of all, thank you for playing and taking the time to write your suggestions down, I really like them btw, especially the Toads checking the chests.
Second, the basement, the top floor and the outside will be unlocked as the game progresses, for now I'd prefer to focus on the ground floor to work on every mechanic more easily.
Also the Mac version is the same as the Windows one, so there shouldn't be any differences.
