Games like Closing Doors incentivizes me to continue sampling horror games off itch.io. A basic foundation yet it provides an excellent albeit short adventure and that puts a smile on my face. The suspense and dread were executed quite nicely and in an uncommon way too with the emphasis of visuals over sound. Even with experience in this genre, the scares got me good without relying on obnoxious gimmicks.
