The game overall is playable, and I can see why people enjoyed it.

For the most part, what I took issue with was the games mechanics in terms of motion. The point and click features only worked about half the time and often times when you walk past a character a text box would appear, blocking the cursor. It would be much more enjoyable and feel much more polished if there were a specific input the player would have to do in order to have the text box appear, such as pressing the “spacebar”. This would completely mitigate the issue.

I also felt the music was very bland. It lacked a sense of melody and felt and sounded like a random collection of notes. But I feel with this type of game the music is inconsequential since the primary focus is the story. The story is serviceable, since the players main interest is supposed to be collecting the crystals, an incredible and engaging story isn’t necessary for the game to be enjoyable. I feel the mechanics for gaining money in the game is very poorly explained. For the longest time I couldn’t figure out how. I thought it had something to do with the enemies, but that wasn’t correct.

Over-all the game is enjoyable, but is unpolished and buggy.
