Quest Compatible?

im curious if: since this is vr and apk format, that it could be compatible with quest headsets, since its standalone vr and works with apk files

if not, would a quest one even be possible?

Unfortunately, I don't know 馃槄

If the demo apk installs and runs on the quest, then I'd suppose it works (but would technically be unsupported since I have no way to confirm it works, since I don't have a quest to test on)

If the demo apk doesn't run on the quest, then I would take that as confirmation that this isn't compatible with the quest at all.

As for whether or not a quest version is even possible, I would say it's almost certainly possible (assuming GameMaker apks are quest compatible - something yoyogames won't have tested since GM is not designed with VR in mind). If the quest SDK can be accessed through either java or c++, making a wrapper for it that GameMaker understands would probably be a similar process to making this cardboard version

the demo didn鈥檛 seem to work but I do know gamemaker apk鈥檚 do seem to work, I鈥檝e tried a fan mobile port of imscared and that works surprisingly well,

so since you where able to get it working with google cardboard, and (on paper tech wise) the quest is a phone built in the shape of a vr headset rather than a phone put into a vr shell, even tho the cardboard demo doesn鈥檛 install (it says the apk errors out or is missing something) I鈥檇 assume it鈥檇 be possible, cuz I鈥檝e been able to run an apk of the game imscared on quest before (doesn鈥檛 play in immersive vr mode just on a virtual screen)

I can probably screenshot the error it gives if you wanted to see if that鈥檚 something simple to fix for testing purposes, cuz this would probably sell a bit more if it wasn鈥檛 just for google cardboard (I haven鈥檛 seen people use that in years)
