Just got the chance to replay this (along with the second day update!) and I'm still in awe at how much charm this visual novel has. From the lovely background art to the choice of small ui elements like the mushrooms and even the very fitting font, everything works together so tremendously well to really give you the feeling of being in a secluded and quiet place in a hidden part of the forest.
I also immediately noticed the updated sprites art! While the original ones were definitely pretty and worked quite well I'm so in love with the new ones, Mychael's unique and charming character design shines through even more! I kept taking screenshots during the whole playthrough because he was just so pretty, got me kicking my feet, blushing and giggling type of deal lmao
Not to mention how deeply interesting he is as a character, every time we got even a small information about the way he goes about his daily life or anything related to his past i paid extra attention. I can't wait to find out even more about him!
Oh and the forest as well, it feels like it's hiding a lot and I cannot wait to start peeling at its layers to figure out what's truly going on in there.
