Model Connecting/Disconnecting

Hi! I am having an issue with  the model on stream... when I am on the app it tracks me just fine but when I go into my game, the model starts to disconnect and reconnect and I don't understand why. I just got a 720p logi webcam from a friend and that is what I am using, and I am also on streamlabs just sharing the app through screen capture.

I hope to get a solution! Thanks!

(Here is a video showing the issue, no music is tabbed out of game, music starting is tabbed into game)

Hmm, it looks like an issue with your webcam not picking up your face at certain angles maybe. Does the same thing happen if you use the app at that angle without games running?

One messy solution might be to go into the face tracking settings and try turning off the "fall asleep when tracking lost" option and see if that helps. If it does, you may want to try manually setting the FPS in vtuber kit on the Gear tab to something like 60fps. And then try re-enabling the fall asleep option. That may make a difference.

Let me know what you find out, it'll help me with making my next update for the app!

It works perfectly fine when I am tabbed out of the game but when I tab back into the game it starts doing that. I messed around with your suggestions and nothing seemed to fix the problem. I was streaming the other night and everything was working fine (a day after I had posted this) and I tried again tonight but it was giving me this issue again so I don't know what the issue is lol!

Is it only with that game? Or every game

I did try with another game and it seemed to have the same issue

I'm not sure what would cause this. Does the model work okay with mouse tracking?

Yeah, never had problems with mouse tracking. very weird

I just realized what it might be. The auto sleep function is currently apparently broken, the toggle doesn't work. So it's always on. And it works by counting frames and after a certain number it makes the model sleep. So maybe when you switch to a game, the monitor fps syncs and increases or something triggering the model to sleep sooner.

You can try limiting your games/monitor to 60fps. Otherwise, I will be fixing the toggle and adding an option to define how long before a model goes to sleep which should solve the issue in the next update.

OK! Sounds good! I def can't change the frames though because I play geometry dash lol, but I can wait! Thanks for your hard work!
