Why are labyrinth names and enemy names unreadable?

I mean, okay, but it seems like a hassle to go to translate things every so often, no? Can’t there be like a toggle for this?
You're not missing much, the enemy names are mostly jokes, and the dungeon names mostly descriptions. Nothing you need to enjoy the game.
