Thanks for playing, i never thought about it being a diegetic UI. Originally it's just gonna be a horror-survival, keep the torch lit to stay warm, (very similar to your submission except with moving light source), the light source is also your vision.
But I've been influenced by Vampire Survivors coz i'm playing it currently haha.
