I will be introducing my nephew to his first TTRPG by first building a character he's excited about, but I'll also discuss how things can go south without planning ahead and setting a few boundaries. This safety tool is worth it just for the check list, but I also like the simple guide as well. Nephew is new and excited. This is just what I need to help my nephew feel like the game is "just right" for him.
