A visual novel where you talk to yourself... definitely different from anything I've experienced before.
It has all the good qualities I'd find in a YNFG, an abstract art style that sets the tone well and puts you into the perspective of how your character sees the world, and a simple but effective accompanying soundtrack that further sets the tone. I can tell there is a lot of passion put into this game despite it being short, it has enough art for its runtime and some nice ambient tracks plus more deranged ones that wrap up the presentation, delivering a sense of discomfort, dread, and sparse comfort that the game was trying to pull off.
I especially like the "BR3A7H3 FOR 3, 3XHAL3 FOR 7" track in the files, again all the songs give me YNFG vibes, which is really great.
I only wish the game was longer, we don't get enough time with the character or really get to see him pull himself out of his despair, so I hope eventually the game gets expanded in the future.
And for the record, I thought the GPS joke was okay (the awkward silence afterwards was way funnier though)
