Been playing this game for awhile, and while I have enjoyed most of the content, there is one side mission that I have issue with. It is the Dr. Lazarus one. Mainly with the fact that there is no option between the two synths, M.A.X. and Aurora. I only get M.A.X.
Now, I am playing my character as bi, so I am not opposed to gay content, but I would like a choice. In all the other missions you have a choice, or know explicitly what content. However, in this one, the text on the mission even says "Choose between Aurora or M.A.X.", but no option to choose is given once in the mission. Also, the dialog indicates that my character has met M.A.X. before in the medbay, but I do not remember seeing or even hearing of this character before this mission.
I have seen others state that it based on whether you chose Fiora or M.A.X. all the way back at the beginning, but like I said I have been playing awhile and don't even remember him being an option. In saying this, I know for a fact that I chose Fiora.
However, regardless of whether you choose Fiora or M.A.X., the biggest issue is that it says choose, but when we get to the actual mission there is no choice, and that is very concerning. I hope it is just an oversight, and is not an indication of the future direction of this game. Because, one of the most appealing things about it is the choice you have in it. It was one of the biggest things that drew me to the game.
Other than this issue, I enjoyed the content of the mission itself, and am intrigued about where it will lead. I also loved Krathi's mission and the conclusion to it was very hot. Looking forward to seeing how that manifests.
So, sorry for the long post, but I just felt like it was an issue that needed addressed. Because, I really love this game and want to see it keep its core appealing aspects.
