By the "barrier" I'm assuming you mean the sign in front of the candy factory? I tried jumping over it since I don't have the belly slam yet but I can't get over it, and I don't know where to go in the little town since it looks like a dead end.

I'm sure this is a stupid question but can you transfer your save files between updated versions of the game? I downloaded 0.5.2 for the hotfix but my save isn't in the new version of the game...
Edit: Nevermind I just copied and pasted my saves in a new folder in 0.5.2, everything's working fine now.
Hello again, it appears that I'm stumped again. I made it to the Candy Factory but I'm trying to find the Employee's Badge but I keep going around in circles. I also found this "door" that seems to be bugged since it's not letting me enter it nor do I get a message telling me that the door is locked.
Ok thanks for the hint.
Also I know this is a pretty silly question but I wanted to ask you about the "lore" in the game since I'd like to make a comic for the fan art section if that's fine with you. Do the characters like Mari have the ability to naturally inflate themselves after learning Aerate or do they need to use items like the puffy ale and shrooms to puff up? I'm only asking this because you can use the gaseous breath in the game even when you're not inflated.
Oh no worries! I put a lot into the lore :))
Only Inflation/Wind type creature can inflate themselves. For example Sporella and other mushroom or plant folk can use Puff Up. The green dragons, and some fairies, have lived in the region long enough to be elementally attuned to wind magic and can inflate themselves as well!
Mari and the others need something to do it. The Dragon Crown gives her the ability to inflate others, I dont she why she couldn't use them on herself x)
