There's been rumors of a potential Zelda remake being announced later this year. Might be why. Remember what happened to AM2R (Another Metroid 2 Remake). Got "Ninja'd" and then out of nowhere Nintendo announced Samus Returns.

Do you know why the version you linked doesn't seem to have save states? Or was that just never added in despite what the dev showed?
