Funnily enough, it's because of the name change. RenPy (our engine) really didn't like that. We added an option to unlock all scenes via a click of a button in the settings, but the public version with this feature will be available in couple of weeks. You can also use the Konami code in the main menu, which will do the same thing, but only on the PC version.
We tried to find a solution that will restore gallery, but we only managed to figure out how to prevent it in the future.
