This is an interesting take on your typical hooey. May end up being a fun game once finished.

That is, if the control's don't drive you mad. Slow walking plus a large area is probably supposed to make it feel vast and open but makes it aggravating more than anything. Floaty jumping that doesn't react to letting go of the jump button makes stairs annoying. Separate keys for turning stars on and off is kinda silly but it might reflect future plans.

Puzzle game players would know immediately what the riddle meant and where it is used but there's no indication which one is which (unless you happen to know the abstract symbology) nor anything saying how to do it.

Perhaps the most annoying? You gain a new ability. At the very end. With nothing saying what it could be. Since you can't leave the level, maybe you could play with the new power if it was revealed.

Lots of potential so we'll see how it goes.
