Honestly, I don't think there will be some people who have the same question as you about the game's story and I also had to think a lot about the first short game that was only made in 3 days for that jam and it wasn't that great. The game doesn't have much attention, but I'm happy that there are still some people still experiencing for this game.
If you ask why Leighton laughed, he's just a U30 silly n crazy old guy who obsessed with his project that connection with his victims. And that game is just tell about some short part of his childhood, that's all. srslyiwishicouldfixeverythingforthisgameonedaylol
It's true that as I just said above, I'm just a beginner in making games, plus I do most of it alone. I should have been more careful when writing the script for this ending scene and some other scenes. It seems like that line should have been edited so that players would understand the problem, thank you for reading. :3
