I don't really mind rewrites or reworks, honestly I think they're kinda necessary in a lot of cases when it comes to your first game. Once you're more familiar with what you want from your story and what you're working with you can refine things that maybe could've been better or be represented better for those new to your game as a whole.
I saw that Light of My Life was able to have a 7gb PC and MAC download, and only have a 1gb Android download. If I can figure out how to do that, I won't have to split the game each season and make y'all do more work downloading and all that crap.
I think your best bet is to talk to some of the folks over on F95Zone if you haven't already. Some of them have game compression down to an art form and can probably point you in the right direction.
Looking at the WCA post over on there, someone compressed S1 down to ~575MB.
