it is running really slow on my gtx 1050 laptop, i'm under the impression that it runs on the integrated gpu inside my intel i7 instead of the gtx 1050 because my laptop wasn't using the fans, normally when I play performance demanding games it goes really loud, here it was silent, so yeah I think that there should be an option to choose the rendering device.
EDIT: I've edited some windows settings and indeed it was using my i7 as the gpu, I switched it to the 1050 and it ran really smoothly, however I think you didn't implement any fps limiting, or vsync because despite using the simplest settings fans were blowing really hard. You should add a fps cap limit and a gpu selector in options.
