Extremely smooth on the 486 I tried it. Rendering is a bit flickery, but the effect is convincing. Clicking apparently quits immediately and leaves the screen in a weird mode.
I've finished the LOD1 out of curiosity, so it can be tested on 8088/8086/80286 at last. Co-processor is required however.
