As a developer (though never used Unity) I feel with you. When you happily implement everything in a free framework and suddenly they change the rules, that sucks more than a certain robot in a certain game (but not in such a good way). Regarding the ad data collection stuff I was already wondering about certain directories with tracking-id and whatever, almost thought it came from the game when in fact it's Unity. Would it be an option to refactor the graphics interface to OpenGL (Windows/Linux) and OpenGL ES (Android)? I'm a big fan of your work and you definitely don't deserve to be screwed over.
