We're writing a Printer Simulator - it simulates printing - on screen...

Thanks to Bungus Productions for hosting this game jam - a great idea for a jam.

And good luck everyone, may your code compile cleanly...

Hey all, I'm the other guy working on the printer sim and this be what we've got so far. We've still got a ways to go but it's certainly starting to look like a thing.

We now have a working game and something to test with. We are now added extra features to make it a bit more fun and to improve the game. We plan to have it feature complete today to leave tomorrow  to tweak the balance of the game and try and make it a bit more fun. We use JIRA to keep track of every task still to be done so we don't forget something and so it all gets tested, there's lots to finish still:

This is what the current game looks like. Pretty, isn't it?

We're now feature complete. We have a couple of ideas for new features that we may get done tomorrow, it may be nice to have achievements in the game.

But really tomorrow is about play testing and balance.

The final day begins and the game is fully coming together. Fixing some bugs, beautifying some bits, and then we're just doing balance to make the game fun but still encapsulate the feeling of agonizing slowness that comes from the real experience of old printers~!

All balancing now complete - balancing was a bit of a opinionated issue, it depends on how we wanted the game to play.

Game is now up and ready to play - have fun everyone...

Tip : we believe it is possible to complete the game in around 4 days and 3 hours if you are lucky. But you do have to have the right strategy to pick the right upgrades in a strategic order.

Let us know if you can beat 4 days.
