no need to use copyright just make something similar like in the game once uporn a time they changed the hair and name of the girls to avoid copyright issues and it did work for them
like for example swap the colors of the 3 dragon between them make spyro pink ember black and cynder purple
other good idea would be to play with size (since is dealing with dragons) get some that are waist high and other being 3 times our size (like the dragoness from shrek for example of size diference)
