how do you get bestial essence? I thought maybe by defeating beasts but I didn’t get any. Is there a shop that sales it? Or another way to get it?

Okay, thanks that’s helpful, I got it from frost fall but it says Gorn alchemist, I don’t have an alchemist there is that unlocked by a quest? Maybe in just not far enough yet?
Yes, in story mode you need to progress the the main quest line to unlock the Gorn alchemist.
