Hi! I had the same problem a while ago, but it seemed to work when I downloaded superstition from the website (NOT the itch.io app). You can then start the game and it will open a tab where you can play the game. If everything is working correctly, you should be able to save by using the 'save to disk' option, which creates a save on your computer that you can always open by using the 'load from disk' option.
