Have you tried using Laptop in MC's room to contact her? Or maybe go to the library where the event might trigger? You can also just check the quest log in the phone menu, usually it shows the exact thing you need to do.
I looked and all it said was "Hang out with Hana on Friday" but it still only shows do homework for money
Have you gone to the fountain?
