as someone said before me, right now it is just STS with a different setting. I like the HK references and the artstyle, but I think you need to switch it up a little bit more, to make it its own thing.
I feel the combat is very slow, card animations are pretty long, like I have to wait a lot to be able to play my cards. I really liked the enemy animations, however borrowing all the mechanics from STS and not adding anything to it (except for the one/battle usage items) I feel like this is not enough to keep me interested.
Good job for getting so far, the question is if you have more ideas?

Looking back, I definitely do think I could've done more to make the mechanics more unique, and if I do decide to expand this into a full game at some point, I'll definitely try to make it stand out some more. I have a couple of ideas already, perhaps expanding the item system and making it a bigger part of the gameplay, adding cards that can interact with items and items that can interact with cards, maybe enemies that can interact with your items too.
The feedback on the gameplay speed is very helpful too! If I make this into a full game, I'll be sure to speed up some of the animations or add a setting to speed them up somewhere in the game.
