Like what you have done! Haven't quite got into the rhythm of the game yet but a joint 5th place is not bad. Before I realized you can hold the shoot button I was having an issue where I'd randomly pick an upgrade but apart from that this is a fun little game. The art style got has a "binding of Isaac" feel to it and I think with more time you'll have an even better game!

5th place is really good, only 4 away from the top. Yeah I was thinking of creating a delay in the upgrade panels appearing to prevent accidental clicks on upgrades, maybe in a future update thanks for the feedback. Never heard of that game but did a quick google, I like its style, might draw some inspiration from it
