Hello Runey, thank you for sharing this with us. My condolences. May your father be well, wherever he is now. I wish you a lot of strength to get through these difficult times. My father also died a few years ago. I guess all you can do is take one step at a time. Everyone probably has to find their own way of dealing with it, but I am a Buddhist and what helped me with my father was the idea that energy is not lost. At some point, the body is used up and the consciousness seeks a new form. I imagined my father was on a trip. In the apartment, I have a photo of him on the altar and in the hallway. I think about him a lot. I say hello and bye to him, good morning and good night. He lives on in my thoughts and in my heart. Take your time with the updates and have a good trip to Europe!
