love the viking vibes!! the choir horns, and hurdy gurdy (is that a hurdy gurdy?) sounded HUGE together! i can imagine the ambush you describe quite vividly. very nicely done :)))
I didn't care about what instruments actually came from what cultures, I only went for a thick sound regardless of where the instruments originated from :D So this is most likely not a historically correct song! :P
