There seems to be a problem, game seems to refuse to load past 90% for me, gave it a few hours and nothing seemed to change

At best you look into the Output log under :
C:\Users\[YOUR username]\AppData\LocalLow\Kernis_not_existing_company\Abandoned - A tale of forgotten lives
Unity will write any error in this file.
Usually when this happens, i just close the game and start it again, and then it works (unity 3d... >_<)
