maybe a small tribe of these Amazonians of different ages and sizes and they like hunting other girls for fun and entertainment? These captives are treated like trophies and are shared among the other tribe members. This could be a whole separate game level.

Maybe she could be a friendly NPC character that helps Nene, who is a hunter-gatherer warrior type of girl that loves hunting and gathering mushrooms. If Nene trades mushrooms with her, she could mark points of interest on the map, such as secret items or bosses.
She doesn't have to do that but it's just a possible gameplay/quality of life idea that you could use if you want, especially when the map for the game expands. Thank you for your consideration and I hope to see such character in the future.

That sounds fun! Maybe they initially capture Nene and are hostile towards her but after she proves her strength to them, they respect her and become friendly.
