How do you play the update without losing your progress from the previous one?

Go to you current game folder e.g. "Daily Lives of My Countryside + version". Then go into the "www" folder and then into "save". Copy the contents (savegames) from this folder to "save" folder of the new version. If you downloaded the game fresh without playing, you need to create the "save" folder manually. Hope that helps ~
