Your Feedback on Music Matters!

Hello, everyone, my followers on itch.io!

What kind of music would make you happy?

I've been composing music, trying to come up with different themes, but often find myself stuck in similar patterns, which limits the variations in my compositions and doesn't seem beneficial for my own growth.

If you could share your thoughts on the type of music you desire or any feedback about music that would be helpful for your game development, I'd be delighted to hear it. Your input will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you very much for the numerous track suggestions. w(゚Д゚)w

I still have some themes that I haven't created, so I will add them to the list.

Hey! I really like the music you make. It's great!

Alright, I have a suggestion! Making tracks for gamedev is a "hobby" for me, so I'll share my thoughts on the matter. When I get stuck, I try to make ambient music. Mixing songs of nature with pads, choirs and arps. Instead of focusing on motifs or recap the main melody in the song, I take the freedom to pursue whatever seems "interesting" at the moment, so to speak. Just like nature, I try to make a music that is constantly in motion, leaving patterns aside. Of course, this is not a rule, but is good practice to stretch the imagination and look for new possibilities.  It's a very liberating exercise to explore and come up with unique ideas for songs. I am no expert at it, but I do recommend it.

That's it! Keep it up the good work!

Thank you, kiddolink, for your input.

You're right, I hadn't really considered making ambient music until now. Perhaps, the genre didn't fall into the music that inspired me to create game music, or maybe I was too confined by structures like melodies and motifs.

I should definitely break free from these limitations.

I am grateful for your suggestion, which has provided the motivation to explore creating ambient music this time.😊
