When opening the game it becomes non-responisive! My mac is sufficient enough to run Mewn base but all i get is black screen!

Thanks for reporting this. Second report of the exact same issue on OSX in the past week. Unfortunately I can't seem to reproduce the bug on my Mac Mini running Sierra. But try seeing if the mewnbase-java.zip version works for you? (Unzip and just double click the .jar file to run)
Do you know what model of video card is in your Mac?
Seems like I need to update or fix the wrapper I'm using for the OSX-specific version. Sorry that it's not working at the moment :/

Firstly what a great game u've created, its my favourite genre of game...! cant wait to play it!
OK so my mac is running Intel 4000HD on i5 core! which i assumed would easily handle the game! as i play all sorts of games (civ5/6) that really push this Mac to its limits! (Fans kicking right off) but it copes! Ive tried to run the OSX version but despite various tries and ways around its still being unresponsive! I have saved a crash report which means nothing to me but it might be more help to you? i can send it in an email!

P.s ive tried running this game through WINE and still nothing which tell me its my MAC! but who knows!
