I really like the color match between the wizard hat and the flowers!

(+1)

I played it :)

Thanks a lot! That must be the reason of the sudden bump in views. As I also said in the YT comments, I have a game released on steam that I've been trying to get yt coverage on. I can send a key of the game if you want to try it out! Maces and Dices on Steam

it is a great game! Here are my creations, my hat was how I felt after beating the last puzzle

I like the crazy enemy and the multiple flowers! Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing!

No problem! Looking forward to more stuff like this in the future!

Great game!
No headset so cant see how good sound was :C

Aw, that's unfortunate. Atleast you had the subtitles.

yes :C

Amazing game! Really nice voice acting!

Thanks! I'm hoping to get even better at voice acting for the full game!

I have achieved comedy. Great game btw.

(1 edit)

Hmmmmm, did you give up on drawing your own flower? haha
Thanks for playing!

im pretty sure its a mimic of the ones on the game background art

A tip: You will have to use the timer to slow down the R

I LOVED this game

(+1)

Oh wow! Thank you! You seemingly loved it so much that you had to create an account on itch to comment? That's awesome! And is that undertale art I see?

(1 edit) (+1)

Yes lol

(+1)

win. had lots of fun w the coding mechanic, it rlly made me think ! spent most of my time doing the pixel art, but the puzzles were a nice break. good game, man

I Need Help On ENEMY

I Need Help On ENEMY Please

One tip is that a right arrow goes under the Y, good luck!

Hi. After a month I have published a video with the best games of the GMTK game jam. I hope you like it. 7 Mejores Juegos De La GMTK Game Jam 2023 En itch.io

Great game, when i saw the green i couldn't not do a lil creeper <3

Cute!

(+1)

Cool game :)

Haha nice, that's a first. Smart!

Victory!

Ooh, I really like the enemy being an evil twin

This game is simply AMAZING! Can't imagine you are of my age...

Simply play worthy for hours. Waiting for full version.

I also made a unique hat which looks like player on top of player (reversed lol)...

found a very rare BUG: If you select two arrow(in my case left & right arrow). Then if that first selected arrow is placed in original place of second selected arrow(original place=left hand box from where we have to pick arrows). Then if you dropped the secondly selected arrow anywhere. Then, both of those arrows merge(In my case, left & right arrow's sprite gets merge.  I don't have a pic to show). I know it's a bit complex to grasp, but just here to tell that this type of bug exist.

btw, I also use Godot & happy to hear that a game made in godot won this year =)

(+1)

Thanks a lot for the positive feedback! I understood the bug you were talking about since I already know of it but as it is rare and not anything serious I didn't fix it. I will fix these kind of small things for the full release though! Also, the enemy you drew was cool!

(+1)

very nice

*facepalm*

(+3)

Listen, you give a monkey a banana, he's gonna eat it. You give me a pencil, I'm gonna draw as many dicks as I can.

I ran a very similar build

Nice creeper

nice

Very square flowers, thanks for playing!

one of the best games i have played

Thanks a lot! I hope you'll like the full release as well

i definitely will love it

This is my design.

That seems like some futuristic kind of enemy, nice!

Frog say game gud.

(+1)

Thanks frog!

Very Good game, but the puzzles are a bit easy, although definitly less frustrating than other puzzles (-:

you can look at the game winters fallling, for exmple

You must be pretty good at puzzles then! I've seen many people struggle previosly. The full game is going to have a lot more challenging ones for sure. Thanks for playing!

my brain is rotting trying to figure out the second doors code with the timer, 10/10 game would reccomend

nevermind lol

(1 edit)

Hey! Glad you figured it out in the end. Thanks for playing!

this is super fun game amazing job, wish it was full one couse it can be so mutch fun

(1 edit)

Thanks! If you wait till late next year you'll have a full 2-3 hour game to play!

that's sound super cool.

(1 edit)

Nice and creative idea. I really like this game.

btw, I found such bugs(?) that in the code editor the arrows can "overlap" each other or be placed in the wall.

Thanks! Yeah I kkow about that bug but it was so rare that I didn't care to fix it.

(+2)

That flower is really cool I think, thanks for playing!

That was so much fun to play! I love puzzle games and making art so it just felt like it was made for me.

There is a lot of potential, you should totally do a full release!

Anyway that's how it ended up looking for me, don't worry about his hat, its just a tampon... for paper...

I'm glad you liked it! The full release will have even more creative minigames like the sprite editor (maybe making music). Thanks for playing!

Can't wait to see that! (but don't crunch too much, it's not healthy)

Snyggt!

Tack!

very fun

Thanks for playing, glad you liked it!

(1 edit)

ofc im 9

btw yeah, the concept was expected if keep in mind the GJ theme, but WHAT THE IMPLEMENTATION! ♥
I request a full game of that stuff! And I have soooo many ideas! Wish you interested ♥

I've been thinking about making a penis detector for the full release so that the narrator can react to it, but will see how doable (and reasonable) that is. Anyways, thanks for playing!

We had the same idea for the hat!😂

(+2)

this was SO MUCH FUN to play. Went through the whole thing with a big smile on my face. Being able to actually draw your own assests and do the "coding" is so rewarding! I can't wait for the full release!!

(+3)

Thanks for playing! I'm looking forward to creating the full game too!

(+2)

♥♥♥ *fingers crossed* ♥♥♥

i cant get past the key puzzle, but wonderful game otherwise!! wish there was a walkthrough tho

Hey, thanks! The common pitfall kn the second key puzzle is that you're trying to make some letters go in the right gap, where as the solution is to let all the letters go through the left gap. Good luck!

(2 edits)

 really engaging hehe nice entry

(+1)

That is a pretty cool enemy design, and the hat too!

Thank you!

(1 edit) (+1)

i like the game!

This was very cute! Looking forward to the full release. Hoping a little that there'll be a way to disobey in the final thing :)

(+2)

I don't think I'll go full on stanley parable but I'll definitely add in some extra easter eggs. Glad you liked it!

(1 edit) (+2)

I love this game

I just wanted to share the sprite art that I did cause im proud of myself lol... I really loved that aspect btw, the whole game was just super fun and cool really haha and on top of it all the visuals are just. Mwah 👌

I look forward to a full release! ^^

(+1)

Thanks a lot! That is some really nice pixel art. one of the most unique flowers I've seen people draw in the game too!

Such a great game! Games that utilize the player as a mechagnism for creating the world usually end up pretty fun, and this is no excepion! Extremely well done!

I will be buying this once it releases!

(+2)

Thanks! In the full release I'm hoping to even let the player express themselves by creating music or at least sound effects for the game!

(+1)

Why it’s not in the list of Top Marks?

(+1)

Mark chose "Making the game" instead as he enjoyed that take on the "player/developer switch" more

This was a pretty fun game! The idea of an arrow programming language is so silly that it wouldn't surprise me if someone goes ahead and does it! An expanded version of this game sounds interesting, especially the concept of the player making their own sprites and then being able to see them in the world.

Thanks! When I'm making it into a full game I'm even thinking about letting the player create things like Music/SFX too, to really sell the idea
