Ran into a bug where after doing Libelle first event at the blacksmith, the event would trigger every time that I went into the blacksmith, preventing progression.
If you're playing on PC, you can use the "Update files only" to fix this issue. Else you'll have to wait until the next upload.
May I ask what progression is blocked for you? Most people playing from save files have already finished most content and it's not necessary to go back to the blacksmith for Libelle's events. ^^
The "update files only" contain the files that have been changed since the last update, so that people that already have the full version of the previous update don't have to re-download the full game again. But it ONLY has those files, so skipping an update when using them will result in missing files and can cause issues, therefore never use them if you don't have the previous game version. The version number for which the updates files are is always mentioned in the file name.

Just came across the game the other day, so it was a fresh save. The issue was that I'm a bit of a sidequest addict and had done the blacksmith event before really progressing the story. So I couldn't get into the blacksmith proper to unlock the elf village by talking to the chief. The update files only thing worked, though.
