I think the knockback gun is a cool gimmick, but it's rather difficult to control. The platforming is hard enough, I'm not sure if all of the instant-kill spikes everywhere were exactly necessary! I think an easier environment to explore may have helped me get further in the game.
The music and sound effects are great :)
