Funny idea! We also briefly considered doing a “you are the computer” entry, but ended up going a different direction. Still, nice to see other people attempted it.
Presentation and UX are pretty good, and the storyline made me chuckle. The fight system itself was pretty close to some games I’ve played, so I felt comfortable with the rules, which was nice. Still, I think the gameplay itself could use a little work. I think the game gets a little repetitive pretty quickly as the only interaction so far was reducing hearts by a given amount.
I think the following features might help:
- have “checkpoints” after a player’s turn instead of playing out the entire fight.
- introduce more interactions earlier, something like “gain 1 attack when a friend attacks” or something like that.
With some tweaks, I could see this turning into a fun game, though!
