Oh! Thank you so much for reporting this bug. I try and test the game myself, but sometimes I miss things and this is what happens.
This bug seems to happen because I forgot to add a certain code after you choose the "Push him away" choice back when the Aliens invade your ship.
I will get it fixed in the upcoming 0.13 version! Thank you again.
