can someone tell me what should i do to get cynthia trust william other than by telling her about harlan or ethel?
i have tried many attempts but it always ends up with william and cynthia antagonize each other.

You have to keep in mind that she doesn't like William. There is a moment when you can pick between talking with Dora, Harlan, Ethel and Cynthia. When I talked with Cynthia she is a bit less upset about him or so I recall.
