cool video, but no. we've been inspired by a few things. This video , table top games like Coup (hence the Three teams on the field) and Madden Strategy, Formula 1 Strategy.
We wanted to reimagine what a sport would look like, if it was created today. SO we went with a Digital Ball sport, where there is no physical "twin" - ie Madden has the NFL, Fifa had Soccer/Football, Nk22 has the NBA etc.
We're working on the strategy/alliances mechanic. It allows you to make an alliance with another team.
