as someone who grew up (yes, you read it right) playing games like btd1, btd2, ttdup and tpof recently, it's safe to say i will definitely be obsessed with this game for the next few weeks. it's just so good???
first of all, the choice of bgm in this game are all perfect. i find it very hard to find games that take serious of this aspect, but this game totally nailed it. i hope this will continue until the game ends!
the characters and backgrounds (even tiny details here and there) are well-drawn! i kept gasping in awe each time i saw something new on my screen! what made me squeal like a little kid though is when i saw how yall did that shaky effects for "shaky hands", for example. (idk how to explain it but what i'm tryna say is the effects matched the words and it's just so cool omg i hope yall understand me-). but, i personally think you guys should add options to make the font bigger or smaller depending on the players' comfortability. as for me, i think the font is a bit small on my pc screen.
also, don't get me started with the storyline. big kudos to the writers and everyone involved! as a writer myself, i've always appreciated games that don't have shitty storylines that only exist for the purpose of reaching the nsfw motives or keeping the concepts of the game going. this game's storyline is one of my fav now, i hope we'll get to see more of mc and rasmus' interactions because they're lowkey cute?? (i see how rasmus is lowkey looking out for mc despite being a huge tsundere and a total dick, i'm not blind yall.) as for delivery guy, i like him. i really do. and guessing from how mc reacted to his antics (despite calling him a weirdo), i think we're on the same page. damon, my love! he's been nice so far in the routes that i played, but i wonder if we'll get to see more nasty sides of him in the future? he looks like someone who hides a lot of things behind that kind mask ~
some of my fav moments that had me gripping my thighs and jumping in my seat in either excitement or terror (you guys called it cheap jumpscares but i called it genius timings);
1. when you guys let us drop down our guards with the cute questions for the quiz but then dropped the bomb like that. nothing bad even happened but my heart legit dropped.
2. the way we were briefly confused on whether mc is dreaming or not until the "click" sounds start to make sense is just so chefs kiss.
(i rarely leave any comments on any kind of medias i consume but this game is just so amazing i just had to leave a comment to show how big of a deal it is to me.)
all in all, i'm so glad i found this game. definitely can't wait for part 2 (i legit screamed when the screen said -end of day 1-) and please keep up the good work, devs! love yall 3000 <3
