FlowScape crashes on load with extreme memory usage

Reinstalled FlowScape on my new system after being reminded I had it by the update to 1.3. It loads the splash screen, then just sits there before crashing. Trying it again while monitoring task manager shows it steadily taking up more and more memory until it hits about 6 GB memory usage and crashes.

Here's the contents of the error.log: https://www.zerobin.net/?c8849c0a48e305d9#mGQBmos3SLWUzR2llRUuv+8imopXXOEbHv834p...

And system specs:

OS: Windows 10

CPU: Ryzen 5 2600X ~3.6GHz

GPU: EVGA GTX 970

Memory: 16 GB (2x 8GB)

Running off a Samsung EVO 1 TB SSD (Forget which model exactly)

Can you try low or medium textures?

the new version has got a lot more in it, but even on high it shouldn't be more than 4 gig, im running a gtx970 as well

Had the same result on medium, but on low it loaded in - Albeit very very choppy. Had the sudden realization my new monitor is 4k and tried dropping resolution down to 1080p and it all works fine now.

great to hear, if you go to settings and turn adaptive quality off, you can set your aa manually, which i think could be a performance issue as you would have a lot of pixels at 4k

Oh, cool. Killing AA is one of the first things I do in any video game because it's pointless at 4k XD
