Yes there is a berry item in the seal of Flesh that's hidden! Maybe check the kitchen for a clue :P
Can you jump over the green bushes with ass quake? I'm aware of some hacky jumps you can do to skip stuff x) I'm ok w them for now because I think it can be fun, but may fix them in the future
