That’s understandable. The movement is not optimal, and there's room for a lot of changes to improve the gameplay. Do you like the movement in the beginning better, where you follow the cursor?

Yes because until you have gun you have only close range melee attack and to not get hit you have to move close and away and with cursor it's so much easier, also when you're attacking with legs your attack in front of you which makes it even harder. But this mechanic, changing movement when legs are collected, is cool. I think you can find a way to keep movement change and not making combat harder, good luck!
