Yeah, a lot of the sound and art designs were based entirely on personal preferences related to things I loved about retro NES and PC games from the early 90s, specifically ZZT as the game mentions in the credits. I know it won't be everyone's cup of tea, but everything is done with a specific reason and intent here. Glad you enjoyed it either way!
